To increase our community outreach we are seeking to partner with school districts in Denver, Boulder, and Northern Colorado. We encourage middle and high schools to participate with GSA’s goals by starting STEM clubs in their own schools. GSA will provide guidelines on how to get started and provide ideas for different activities. We will also put them in touch with mentors from the industry.
To start your club, get in touch with GSA at [email protected] (or click the link below). Then advertise locally in places where students meet, such as schools, libraries, and sporting events to reach a wider audience. Next, conduct fundraising events to raise money for events; GSA will help you with this. Once you have secured funding, the club in conjunction with GSA can plan exciting STEM activities such as arranging field trips to STEM companies.
