In June 2022, we hosted an event at the Bryant-Webster school: a Title 1, dual language school in Denver. We distributed books featuring women in STEM, such as Ada Twist, Scientist and Code Girls as well as science kits from National Geographic for teachers to use in class. We also gave over 200 students STEM supplies like rulers and styluses. To further the Girls STEM Academy mission, we gave presentations in classrooms about women in STEM and the latest innovations in STEM. The event received positive feedback and impacted over 200 elementary and middle school students. Below are pictures and videos from the event.
